RIP Germs 🦠

When you think of air and surface disinfection, you probably don’t picture ultraviolet light zapping away germs like it’s straight out of a sci-fi movie. But that’s exactly what UVC technology does. To help spread the word to schools, hospitals, and other facilities plagued (no pun intended) with germs, bacteria, and other nasties, I teamed up with a group of industry experts to define our audience and messaging for an “Introduction to UVC for Air & Surface Disinfection” video. After honing our approach, I wrote the script for the voiceover and visuals, ensuring we balanced technical detail and accessibility. I then partnered with a top-notch video production company to handle the animation, voiceover, and final edit, bringing our vision to life.

Smooth Sailing

When you think of manufacturing, you probably imagine the soothing hum of automated machinery, the calming zen of paint spraying, and the laid-back thrill of conveyor belts. Naturally, the only soundtrack that could capture this industrial magic is the smooth, buttery vibes of Yacht Rock. So, to announce that RadTech 2025 will be hitting the Motor City, Detroit, I did what anyone would do—I recreated a Yacht Rock classic with a coatings, inks, and adhesives twist. I wrote the lyrics, hired an amazing singer to channel his inner Rupert Holmes, and went full DIY mode: filming, editing, and even starring in the video to capture the essence of smooth sailing through an industrial paradise

3D Printing Saves Los Angeles

I developed the concept, wrote the script, and partnered with your favorite deconstructive pop artist's favorite deconstructive pop artist, Matt Gondek, to create a two-page comic book that we ran in a select B2B magazines, on our website, in email campaigns, and even a few printed versions we gave out at 3D printing trade shows.

UV Safely Month

Every July, the American Cancer Society promotes UV Safety Month to raise awareness about the link between UV radiation and skin cancer. However, they often overlook the life-saving benefits of UV technology. In response, the International Ultraviolet Association decided to rename July as UV Safely Month. This initiative celebrates the safe use of UV technology to create clean drinking water, mitigate the spread of harmful viruses like MRSA and COVID-19, and keep air and surfaces germ-free. I wrote the script and collaborated with an amazing animator and voice actor to produce this impactful video for the International Ultraviolet Association.

Don’t Be An Ostritch

We needed a fun way to encourage conference attendees to register for the event and make hotel reservations before the deadline. I came up with the concept for the video, wrote the script, used an amazing AI voice generator to create the voiceover, added a little music, and edited it together. We had several hundred registrations the days after the video as a result and created conversation around the capybara vs. ostritch debate.

I wrote and edited the script with the help of a few super smart friends, did the voiceover, created the music, and then filmed/edited it all together.
